What happens next

  1. Tell us the basics

Business, city, website and the problem to solve.

  2. We review it

We look at your site and local search results first.

  3. We talk it through

A senior strategist calls you back with specifics.

Before you get in touch

The answer first: three facts about your business let us start the benchmark immediately.

  1. Your service area. The towns or municipalities you send trucks to every week, not every town you have ever served.
  2. Your main services. The two or three jobs you most want more of, such as furnace replacement, heat pump installs or maintenance plans.
  3. Your current marketing. What you spend each month, on which channels, and whether calls are tracked.

If you have them, monthly lead or call counts for the past year are useful too, because they show your seasonal pattern.

A message template you can copy

Texting or emailing instead? Copy the lines below and swap each bracket for your own details.

Hi, this is [Your name] from [Business name]. We are an HVAC company based in [City, Province], serving [list of towns]. We mainly want more [service 1] and [service 2] work. We currently spend about [$ amount] a month on [channels]. Our biggest problem is [short description]. You can reach me on [days and times].

That is enough for us to pull the public data for your area before we speak.

What happens next

The process is the same for every HVAC company, whatever its size.

What we cannot help with

Being clear about this saves everyone time.

  • Homeowner service requests. Nobody here installs, repairs or services furnaces, boilers or cooling units. If you need a furnace or air conditioner fixed, contact a licensed company in your area.
  • Legal, engineering or code-compliance questions. Our reports summarise public rules, such as Google's guidelines and Canada's anti-spam law, but we do not give legal, engineering or compliance advice.
  • Lists of homeowners for cold outreach. Canada's anti-spam law requires consent for commercial texts and emails. Our CASL report explains why we only build follow-up programs around your own customers.

If you are a homeowner

Some visitors arrive here looking for a technician. We are not one. Please contact a licensed HVAC company in your area directly.

Privacy

We only use the details you send to reply to you and to prepare your benchmark. We only email people who contact us first. Our privacy page has the full policy.

Call, text or email whenever you are ready. HVAC.Report advises and markets heating and cooling businesses throughout Canada.

Frequently asked questions

What is the quickest way to reach you?

Phone or text (604) 632-4959 between 9 and 6 Pacific time, Monday to Friday. A short text is enough to start. When a call goes unanswered, we usually reply within one business day.

Do I need to prepare anything before I call?

No, but your service area, main services and current marketing spend help. If you have call or lead numbers by month, they let us start the benchmark sooner.

Can we meet in person?

Yes, in person or by video call, whichever suits you. Phone, text and email work too, wherever you are.

Will I be passed to a junior account manager?

Your first conversation is with a senior strategist. Who manages the account day to day depends on the plan; Elite includes a dedicated account manager.

Is HVAC.Report able to send a technician?

No. We are a marketing and consulting service for HVAC companies, not a contractor. Homeowners needing service should contact a licensed local HVAC company.
