Services

HVAC marketing services, and how to choose the right one first

HVAC.Report is a marketing service for Canadian HVAC, heating and cooling companies that makes decisions from evidence. We read public sources, such as Statistics Canada's business counts and household surveys, Google's own rules for Business Profiles and search, and the results of our named HVAC case studies, and we say plainly which parts are data and which parts are our judgement. Then we run the marketing. We are not an HVAC contractor: we do not install, repair or service equipment. We help the companies that do.

Why a report-first approach

The answer first: most HVAC marketing money is spent on assumptions that nobody has checked.

Owners are told that "everyone" is buying ads, that a certain cost per lead is normal, or that more city pages always help. Often none of it is sourced. Our approach starts from what can be checked. For example, Statistics Canada's June 2026 counts show that 57.6% of plumbing, heating and air-conditioning contractor locations with employees have one to four staff, which means most local competitors are small firms with limited time for marketing. Our contractor counts report explains how to use that.

What we do

We offer five services, each one tied to a measurable outcome. The services hub explains how to choose between them.

What the evidence says, in brief

Our reports each take one public source and draw marketing conclusions from it. Three findings shape most of our recommendations:

  1. Small competitors dominate. Most contractor locations are very small, so execution beats budget in many markets.
  2. Construction trails online. In Statistics Canada's 2023 survey, 25.5% of construction enterprises had no web presence and only 16.7% bought online ads, against 9.8% and 21.5% for the private sector as a whole.
  3. Google's rules are public. Google states that local ranking rests mainly on relevance, distance and prominence, and that nobody can pay for a better local ranking. Most profile problems we see break rules that are written down.

Proof from named HVAC clients

The answer first: our methods have produced documented results for real HVAC companies, and we name each one.

BCWide.ca reached 3× leads in 90 days. At HeatLand, a program of 850+ SEO articles went with a 300% lead increase in 6 months. Roma Heating & Cooling grew organic traffic 400% in 12 months, and HVACDeal.ca generated 500+ leads at a 12:1 ROI. Our results page explains what each one shows and what transfers to other companies, and our case-study report sets out their limits honestly.

Coverage across Canada

We work with HVAC companies in all 10 provinces and the three territories, from Vancouver, where we are headquartered.

Markets differ more than most agencies admit. Statistics Canada data put natural gas as the primary heating energy for 76% of Alberta households in 2023, while 70% of Quebec households relied on electricity. That changes which services to lead with and which programs homeowners ask about. Our areas hub has a page for each region with the market data, regulators and current programs.

How this site is organised

Start with the reports if you want the evidence, the services if you know what you need, or the areas hub for your province's data. Each page states its sources and dates, so you can check anything we say. Where we give an opinion rather than a fact, the heading says so. If you only have five minutes, read the contractor counts report and the Google Business Profile rules report; between them they explain most of what we would change first for a typical HVAC company.

Who is behind HVAC.Report

The group's HVAC work runs through HVAC.Agency, whose plans and pricing apply here. Read more on our about page, or see pricing for the plans and the 7-day free trial. Call, text or email; you will talk to a senior strategist, and we usually reply within one business day.

How it works

  1. We read your market

We pull the public data for your service area, from contractor counts to heating-fuel mix, and benchmark the competitors who actually appear when homeowners search.

  2. We show you the gaps

You get a dated, written report that separates what the data says from what we recommend, with a short list of fixes ranked by likely return.

  3. We run the plan and report on it

We build the pages, profile and campaigns, and report cost per lead and booked jobs. Call, text or email; you'll talk to a senior strategist.

Frequently asked questions

What is HVAC.Report?

HVAC.Report is a Canadian digital marketing and consulting service for HVAC and heating companies, operated by Sedighi.ca within the Sedighi.ca and SAZ.ca group. We publish data-led reports and run marketing for contractors. We are not an HVAC contractor.

Where do your numbers come from?

From sources we load ourselves, such as Statistics Canada tables, Google's help and Search Central pages and the Justice Laws Website, plus our named HVAC.Agency case studies. We do not run surveys or publish industry averages.

Do you work outside British Columbia?

Yes. We are headquartered in Vancouver and work with HVAC companies in every province and territory. Our regional pages cover the market data, regulators and programs for each one.

How much does it cost?

Plans start at $2,998 a month for Starter, and websites from $3,500 one-time, in Canadian dollars plus GST/HST based on your province (GST and QST in Quebec). You can start with the 7-day free trial: no credit card, no lock-in.

Will you promise a number of leads?

No. Nobody can honestly promise rankings or leads. We set a baseline, agree the metrics, and report against them every month so you can judge the results yourself.
